Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 cups peanut butter (Use SHRIDHA’S Natural or High Protein or chocolate cardamom flavour Peanut butter)
- 1 Cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon pink salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cup fine grounded brown sugar
- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 (110g) dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
Preparation for Peanut butter Layer
- Line a 9×16 baking pan with foil or parchment paper, making sure to leave some space for easy removal, and set aside.
- Combine the melted butter and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until fully combined. Then, add pink salt, vanilla extract, corn syrup, baking soda, virgin coconut oil and mix until fully combined.
- Scoop the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down into one even layer. Set aside.
Preparation to TOP with Chocolate
- Add chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 25 seconds, stir for 40 seconds, and repeat this process until the chocolate is melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture on top of the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 Hrs and 30 min whereby the bars are firm and the chocolate topping is set. Once the bars are firm, lift them out of the pan using the overhang from the foil slice, and Have it Tasty Treat !
